09.12.19 0 The set of educative events for schools and universities concluded

Almost 250 participants have taken part in the events focusing on possibilities of integrating the topic of ecosystem services into the school and university curricula.

An information board ECOSYSTEM SERVICES – BASIS FOR SAULKRASTI DEVELOPMENT installed in the pilot area Saulkrasti.

The Final Conference of Project will take place on January 15, 2020 in Riga, Latvia.

Project LIFE EcosystemServices results are widely shared during annual EUROPARC Federation conference.

Public discussion has been started on the revised version of the Development Programme of Saulkrasti Region 2014-2020; it will last until September 30, 2019.

Materials for environmental education activities in Nature Design Park “White Dune” in Saulkrasti have been prepared.

About 50 representatives of state, municipal, scientific and non-governmental institutions gathered in University of Latvia on Friday, April 26, 2019 to learn about the newest results of ecosystem services related projects in Latvia.

Project seminar and the third discussion forum on ecosystem services will be held at the House of Nature of the University of Latvia on Friday, April 26, 2019.
