One subchapter of Chapter V “Dzīvības sfēra” (Sphere of Life) of monograph is focused on ecosystem services and provides examples of ecosystem services valuation in Latvia. One of these examples shows experience of LIFE EcosystemServices project on coastal ecosystem services identification and mapping (see page 483).

Land, Nature, People, Country) is to compile the latest research and available information on Latvia and make it available to Latvian readers. The book has 61 contributors, experts in their fields.
