In 25th of August in Saulkrasti 2nd project "LIFE EcosystemServices" seminar will be organized.

During the seminar different target groups will be introduced with the ecosystem services concept and it's evaluation necessity as well as main activities and the results of the project.

During the seminar there will be a possibility to listen about:
- Biodiversity ad ecosystem services aspect correlation
- Sustainable management of the Coastal ecosystems
- Latvian society opinion about ecsystem services and it's way of use
- Tourism and leisure activities near Baltic sea coastal zone in the context of cultural ecosystem services
- Actual tendencies about ecosystem evaluation

During the seminar second part a discussion and questions as well as excursion to the Saulkrasti pilot area are planned. 

Seminar will be organized in the framework of project LIFE13 ENV/LV/000839 "LIFE EcoystemServices" which is implemented by the Nature Conservation Agency of Latvia, association "Baltic coasts" and Saulkrasti Municipality. Project is co-financed by the European Union and Latvian Environmental Protection Fund.
