In the framework of the project "LIFE EcosystemServices" first leaflet "Evaluation of Ecosystem Services in Latvia" has been made.

Leaflet contains main information about the project objectives, activities and pilot areas as well as information about ecosystem services valuation approach, which will be made according to the project.

At the same time leafltet shortly gives an insight in ecosystem services definition and in an easy language explains the importance of ecosystem services assessment.

The leaflet is published in Latvian and English languages. It is planned to distribute it among project target groups - national authorities and local government representatives, business people and academics etc.

Leaflet is made in the framework of project LIFE13 ENV/LV/000839 "LIFE EcoystemServices" which is implemented by the Nature Conservation Agency of Latvia, association "Baltic coasts" and Saulkrasti Municipality. Project is co-financed by the European Union and Latvian Environmental Protection Fund.
