On 3rd of November project representatives gave presentations for PhD students in the framework of course cycle "An Introduction to Ecosystem Service Theory and Practice".

Course cycle was organized by the University of Helsinki in cooperation with the Latvian University of Agriculture. Course was attended by 15 students who are studying environmental issues in Norway, Finland, Sweden and Latvian universities.

Project representatives gave four presentations which incorporated newest data and information according to project "LIFE EcosystemServices" activities and used methodology. Also a short film about ecosystem services was presented as well as practical task to the students was given.

Presentations given in the framework of project LIFE13 ENV/LV/000839 "LIFE EcoystemServices" which is implemented by the Nature Conservation Agency of Latvia, association "Baltic coasts" and Saulkrasti Municipality. Project is co-financed by the European Union and Latvian Environmental Protection Fund.
