On 12th of June in Saulkrasti and educational event for University of Latvia Geography and Earth Sciences faculty Master programme students was organized.

During the event different acitivities for students were offered. Project "LIFE EcosystemServices" representative gave information about the project and its activities in the Saulkrasti pilot area as well as about the ecosystem services approach. Coastal habitat expert Mr. Jānis Lapinskis described main environmental issuses regarding pilot area and showed methods, how the dune strenghtening is made.
