From the 10 till 12 of of May project "LIFE EcosystemServices" will participate in the LIFE Platform meeting "Ecosystem Services COSTING THE EARTH? – translating the ecosystem services concept into practical decision making" which will take place in Tallinn, Estonia.

Meeting will be organized by the Baltic Environmental Forum in the framework of the LIFE VIVA GRASS project.

The main goal of the meeting is to identify the relationships between LIFE projects and the application of ecosystem services concept in the EU. In the framework of the meeting it is planned to develop a guidance document for assessing and applying ecosystem services concepts at both the LIFE programme level and at the individual LIFE project level.

The meeting will bring together over fifty LIFE projects and other organisations that are working with ecosystem services.
